With the passage of time and the installation of this generation of fitting devices, as well as the improvements made in their manufacturing technologies, finally the fourth generation was designed and built. But this type of proportioning device still had weaknesses, such as creating pressure drop, being affected by the passage of firefighting water impurities, not being cost-effective at high flow rates, the impossibility of changing the mixing ratio…
In order to solve these problems, digital proportional devices that are called Dual Meter Flow Sensing Direct Injection Foam Proportioning System and Single Meter Flow Sensing Direct Injection Foam Proportioning System were introduced according to the NFPA11:2021 standard. The basis of the work of these proportioners is to measure the flow rate of water and foam and adjust the amount of injected foam.
In these fittings, Atashbas Pars used a foam pump, which is responsible for sucking foam from the atmospheric tank and producing high-pressure foam. In the next step, the flow rate of firefighting water and foam is measured, and with certain mechanisms, the amount of foam injection into the firefighting water line is determined with high accuracy.

In addition to the mentioned cases, this technology is used in the improvement of the fitment of car pump equipment as well as firefighting vehicles with foam pump and balancer valve.
At the time when the car has a proportional pump and manual adjustment valve, it is generally not possible to obtain the correct mixing ratio of water and foam in accordance with national and international standards, and due to the requirement of these standards for annual tests of the mixing ratio, the use of this method is obsolete in most developed countries.
To correct this type of proportioner, Atashbas Pars used a digital sprayer system to accurately control the amount of water and foam mixing. In this system, a flowmeter is installed in the water line and a flowmeter in the suction line, and an electric valve controlled by PLC. After receiving the information from the flowmeters, this processor controls the opening of the solenoid valve to reach the set amount. This process takes place in a very short time.
